Fundraising
PLEASE HELP US BY JOINING OUR MEMBERSHIP AND CONSIDERING LEAVING US A LEGACY IN YOUR WILL, SO THAT THE FRIENDS CAN CONTINUE THEIR WORK AND ENSURE THE FUTURE OF FARNHAM HOSPITAL AND CENTRE FOR HEALTH.
We fundraise through:
- The sale of paperback books in the Outpatient Department - if you have any unwanted paperback books we could sell, then please contact us;
- Selling tea towels, coasters, note-books and cards based on 'Friends' Logo. Tea towels can also be purchased at Seale Craft Shop;
- Receiving cheques and donations from grateful patients;
- Bequests and Legacies;
- Membership subscriptions;
- Raffles;
- Charity tea tent at Music in the Meadows, Farnham

There are various ways to donate money towards the work we are doing, if you wish to help please consider one of the following options:
Subscriptions, donations and bequests - please contact our Treasurer, Michael Cox, Friends of Farnham Hospital and Centre for Health, Hale Road, Farnham, Surrey GU9 9QL to donate or to set up a Standing Order or similar.
Recent purchases include:
- Spirometer for Farnham Dene Surgery
- New patient discharge information folders
- £1000 towards a new van for home assessments
- 2 ECG machines for the GP surgeries
- Garden furniture for the Day Assessment unit;
- 2 additional Portering wheelchairs;
- Defibrillator for The Ferns and River Wey Practices;
- 6 Portering wheelchairs;
- 2 Anti-Coagulant machines for Farnham Dene Practice;
- 63 wall mounted digital television sets for inpatient bedrooms;
- 3 floor standing digital television sets for the Day Rooms;
- Motomed for the Physiotherapy Department;
- Camcorders and a special Assessment Kit for a Speech Therapy Programme devised by Newcastle University;
- Yearly subscription to the "Daily Sparkle" newspaper for the Occupational Therapy Department;
- 6 additional wheelchairs and cushions for the Physiotherapy Department;
- Bladder Scanner;
- Anatomical aids for the Physiotherapy Outpatient Department;
- Artwork for hospital walls;
- Equipment and toys for Children's Services;
- External fixation device for an eye screening camera for the Diabetes service.
