Farnham Hospital in the 21st Century
2002 saw the new £21 million PFI building beginning to take shape. A grand vision
The building has 84 single inpatient rooms with en suite facilities and there is also a ‘state of the art’ Renal dialysis unit. This local facility considerably eases travel for dialysis patients and carers.
Other services include outpatients clinics, day care facilities for the elderly, a large physiotherapy department, x-ray, occupational therapy, speech & language therapy, an eating disorders clinic, children’s services, district nurses, health visitors, podiatry, community dental services, and a retail Pharmacy.
Three GP practices formerly based in Farnham Health Centre moved to the hospital in November 2003.
